Hey there!

I’ve gotten a bunch of questions on the course (which is great, keep them coming!) and thought I’d share a 1.0 FAQ for Notion Consultants Bootcamp.

I’ll also be adding these to the course landing page (which should be going live first week of September), but figured I’d share them sooner! And if you have questions about the course that we haven’t covered here, please ask! You can email me directly​. 🙂

When does enrollment open?

If you’re on the waitlist (ie. you 😉), enrollment opens Friday, September 15th. Enrollment will then open to everyone Monday September 18th.

What does the enrollment process look like?

Prior to securing your spot in the course, we’ll have a short survey that’s required prior to approval. If it looks like you’re a good fit, you’ll receive directions on securing your spot for the course. The survey is 100% designed to ensure you’re getting maximum value from the course, and is in no way made to exclude anyone.

Why do I have to be accepted to the course?

There will be interactive components to each live session, so having a group brings a dynamic, diverse collection of skills, interests, and backgrounds is essential to running a great course. Also, prospective students need to show some level of previous involvement/activity around Notion.

If I’m on the waitlist, do I get early access to the course signup?

Yes! You’ll get access a full three days before enrollment opens to everyone, which is September 15th!

How much will the course cost?

$297 for everyone who joined the waitlist. The price may be higher when enrollment opens publicly, but not for you!

What are the prerequisites for this course?

You need to have at least intermediate understanding of Notion (ie. working with databases, basic formulas, dashboard creation). Ideally, you’ve built solutions (whether they’re templates, guides, or workspaces) for others.

Who is this course aimed at?

This course is ideal for you if you’re 1)already consulting, but want to focus more on Notion, or 2)are already building Notion templates, courses and resources and intent to venture into Notion consulting.

How long does it take to complete the course?

There are six sessions over a two-week period (October 16 - October 27). As of Mid-August, the course meeting time will be 12:00PM EST.

The exact meeting times will be: 10/16 Monday, 10/18 Wednesday, 10/20 Friday, 10/23 Monday, 10/25 Wednesday, 10/27 Friday Sessions will be between 75-90 minutes.

Should I enroll if I can’t make the live sessions?

The course is definitely designed to be a live, collaborative experience. If you absolutely still want to sign up, all course sessions and office hours sessions will be recorded and posted to our Circle channel and Notion Teamspace.

What type of course materials will be provided?

Once enrolled, you’ll get access to a shared Notion Teamspace, with all the resources, templates, and guides we’ll reference in the course.

What does the course fee cover?

The course fee covers access to all course materials, including access to video lessons, reading resources, and practical exercises. There are no additional costs associated with this course. You’ll also have access to the shared Teamspace and Circle channel for the next 12 months.

Will there be any hands-on projects or real-world applications?

Absolutely! The course features practical exercises and deliverables designed to apply your learning to real-world scenarios. You will be creating Notion workspaces, designing social media strategies, and defining your services and target audience.

How will my progress be evaluated in the course?

Progress is evaluated through the completion of the deliverables at the end of each lesson. These practical exercises allow you to apply what you've learned and receive feedback.]

Will I receive a certificate or credential upon completion?

If that’s something you’re interested in, sure! Please note, NCB is an independent course and not affiliated with Notion. This does not function as an alternative to Notion’s official certification process.

What kind of support can I expect during the course?

We're committed to providing comprehensive support to our students. We’ll be using the Circle Course channel to post updates, questions, and submit work. Our goal is to get responses to every question within 24 hours to make sure you get the most from the course.

What opportunities will this course open up for me?

The goal for this course is to take everything I’ve learned over the last two years, and package up everything that’s worked (and highlight what hasn’t), so you can ramp up your consulting business faster (and with less heartache!). Building any consulting business is a long-term investment, and can take several months to get to reliable recurring revenue. Upon completion of this course, you'll have the essentials to start your own consulting business as a Notion consultant. You'll have strategies for attracting and retaining clients, creating effective Notion workspaces, and continually growing and adapting your business.
